Our Mission
Carolina Gold Rush is a speed skating team in Concord, NC whose goal is to train athletes of all ages and ability levels to reach their highest potential. Since our formation in 2022, we have grown into a small but fast team of skaters with accomplishments that reflect our values of sportsmanship, hard work, and commitment to growth. We are excited to offer training for the next generation of Gold Rush skaters!

Head Speed Skating Coach
Coach Morgan Oliver is an experienced speed skater with a proven track record in competitive roller speed skating. With a passion for coaching, she is dedicated to helping athletes improve their skills and achieve their full potential on the track.
Experience:
- Competed in national and international speed skating competitions.
- Coached numerous athletes to podium finishes in regional and national events.
- Produced multiple national champion and national record-holding skaters

Coach Billy Layton
Quads Speed Skating Coach
Coach Billy Layton brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. His expertise in speed skating techniques and training methodologies has contributed to the success of numerous athletes under his guidance.

- Coach Dale, trained athletes for various speed skating disciplines including sprints and endurance races.
